POSITION: Part-time / ongoing contract. Possibility for full-time if desired.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. At least 5 years in design and/or UX for the web
    1. Design experience/portfolio must have a strong focus on websites (mobile apps, web apps, and branding design are also interesting)
    2. Must be able to handle serious, complex websites, such as higher education, corporate, and high-content / high-traffic sites
  2. Some sort of design or UX portfolio that you can share

HARD REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to overlap at least 4 working hours in Central Time Zone.

In this position, you will facilitate the design and/or user experience of client websites. No brochureware here – we only create highly usable websites and digital experiences. Beauty and creativity, while important, come secondary to usability.
